Contamination occurs in the majority of cases from the environmental exposure or from an existing contaminated substrate or product. All ADHESIVES AND SEALANTS can be susceptible to microbiological contamination and therefore require some form of in package preservative to provide protection during the manufacturing and storage processes and an extended protection to the final product after it has been applied.
ATC BIOCIDES have a long list of suitable products with different molecules, or mixtures of molecules, to offer preservation of the manufacturing process, the wet storage “in-package” stage and protection of the final product after use.
