ATC BIOCIDES is a French company located near Lyon which develops, produces and distributes industrial biocides around the world.
It belongs to ATC Tannery Chemicals, which is a family company with an international dimension and 50 years of experience in the leather industry.
ATC BIOCIDES are chemicals designed to prevent the growth of microbial agents in a wide variety of materials such as : leather, textile, paints and coatings, building materials, wood, plastics, emulsions and fluids for metalworking. Our biocides range complies with international regulations and standards : REACH, European regulation BPR EU/528/2012, Blue Angel and other RSLs.
Customer service is one of our priorities that is why we put our technical department at your disposal to help you. Our microbiological laboratory can evaluate the effectiveness of protection of materials with specific standard tests (Challenge Test…).
Commited to CSR with the signing of the Responsible Care Charter since 2020, our R&D team is currently focused on the developement of new biocides with the most favorable profiles for public health and the environment.
In France, the head office and research and microbiology laboratories of ATC Biocides are located in Montanay, where a highly qualified team of chemists, biologists and engineers works on the development of new formulations, quality control and process innovation.
Production is carried out at our industrial manufacturing site in compliance with regulatory requirements. Similarly, our facilities in Brazil, operated by ATC Brazil, include specialised storage areas for hazardous products and a unit dedicated to the production, development and formulation of biocides. Although located in different countries, all our sites operate as one unified team, sharing the same standards of quality, innovation and safety.
